Teaching with the Toolkit

This section offers practical examples of how oracy can support learning through learning questions, spoken outcomes, collaborative tasks and learners’ lived experiences, with adaptations for pupils at the New to English, Emerging English and Competent English phases. The examples can be adapted to different subjects, learners and classroom contexts, with particular attention to ensuring that multilingual learners can participate, contribute and flourish.
